Day 1Arrival in London

Your holiday would begin with arrival in London – a charming city with a royal heritage and incredible wealth of history. Rich in culture and exciting attractions, London has something to offer to every traveler – from history to fine food and good times. You would be greeted by a Travelobot representative at the hotel. Relax at the hotel after your long and tiring journey with a comfortable overnight stay.

You then have the rest of the day at leisure to explore this royal city. Later, enjoy a delicious Indian dinner and spend a comfortable overnight at the hotel.

Day 2City tour of London

After breakfast, you would be picked-up from your hotel for a guided tour of the city. The major sights you would see during this tour include: Buckingham Palace – the office for the Head of State as well as the official residence of Queen Elizabeth ll, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, London Eye, Tower of London and others.
Thereafter, move on to experience the glittering world of fame at one of London’s most popular attractions, the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. Here, you would have the chance to see super-realistic wax figures of your favourite stars from Hollywood and Bollywood as well as other world famous celebrities. Later, relish a scrumptious Indian dinner and enjoy a comfortable stay at the hotel.

Day 3Trip to London Eye (Optional - Tower of London)

Start your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel. You will be taken to enjoy a ride atop the famous London Eye . The attraction is situated in the heart of London and from here you can get amazing panoramic views of the city, as well as sights such as: Westminster Bridge, Victoria Embankment, Saatchi Gallery and County Hall. Later you could go shopping and pick-up some gifts & souvenirs to mark your trip to London. Then you could take an optional tour (additional cost) to the Tower of London. This imposing tower houses the Crown Jewels – the ceremonial treasures which have been acquired by English kings and queens from all over the world since 1660 or earlier. The Crown Jewels are part of the national heritage and held by The Queen as Sovereigns. This spectacular collection displays some stunning and priceless gems including the renowned Kohinoor diamond. You could purchase this activity at the time of booking this package or on-ground during your holiday.

Day 4Arrival in Manchester

After a scrumptious breakfast, you would head to Manchester. En-route, you would be taken to Stratford – the quaint town which is known as the birthplace of the world-renowned play writer – William Shakespeare. Here you would get some time for shopping as well as a chance to explore the bars and public houses in one of the finest stone towns of England.
After arrival in Manchester, you would check-in and then have rest of the evening at leisure to get acquainted with the nearby areas. You could take a unique tour (own expense) of the Police Museum – where you would be taken through the history of crime and policing in the city. It is truly one-of a-kind experience. Later, relish a scrumptious Indian dinner and then set off to sleep.

Day 5Sightseeing in Manchester & Transfer to Windermere

After breakfast, get geared up for a half-day orientation tour in Manchester with photo-stops at some of the best known attractions of the city. You would drive past the Manchester Town Hall, where you can view the hall from outside and click some memorable pictures here. You would also stop to view the renowned Manchester United Football Stadium which is famous for hosting some nail-biting matches. Following this, you would proceed to Windermere. After check-in at the hotel, you would have the rest of the day for relaxation and exploration of the city. Later relish an enticing Indian dinner, and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 6Sightseeing in Windermere & Arrival in Edinburgh

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, check-out from the hotel as then you would proceed for a half-day excursion to Lake District. You would be taken to the quaint towns of Bowness-on-Windermere. Windermere is the largest lake in England and here you would enjoy a circular cruise around the mesmerizing islands of Lake Windermere which truly captures the essence of England with its contrasting scenery of mountains, wooded shorelines and tranquil islands. You would then head towards Edinburgh.
After check-in at the hotel, you have rest of the evening at leisure. You could take a walk on the Royal Mile (own expense). It is the main road of Edinburgh’s Old Town that runs from the Castle up in the west and down to the Palace of Holy Roodhouse in the east. The Mile is overlooked by impressive, towering tenements, between which cobbled roads and narrow stairways interlock to create a vibrant area steeped in the city’s colorful history, perfect for shopping, eating or simply taking a walk. Later, enjoy a delicious Indian dinner and then retire to the hotel.

Day 7City Tour of Edinburgh

Wake up to high levels of excitement as today you would be taken for a guided tour of Edinburgh. On this tour, you would be seeing the Edinburgh Castle; the famous castle was built on the remains of an old volcano and is said to be haunted. Edinburgh has been the capital of Scotland since the 15th Century and stands proudly on seven hills creating the dramatic skyline of this lively cosmopolitan city. You can compare Edinburgh’s Old Town to the elegant Georgian New Town with its three main streets and a square at either end. The next stop would be the Rock Castle where you can hear the tales about the hangings that took place in the Grass market and the attempts to capture Edinburgh Castle as you marvel at the impenetrable Rock Castle. Later, you are free to enjoy the evening at your discretion in this beautiful city.

You could visit (own expense) the Royal Botanical Gardens. It is world famous for its horticultural excellence which spreads over 70 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds that provide a tranquil haven just one mile from the city centre. You could also visit some of its famous quaint pubs that are part of Scotland’s rich cultural lifestyle to sample on the world-renowned Scottish whisky.

After the day of hectic yet exciting sightseeing, enjoy a delicious Indian dinner and retire for the day.

Day 8Excursion to Loch Lomond

After breakfast, you would head out for a full day excursion of Loch Lomond. A ‘loch’ is the Scottish name for a lake and Scotland consists of many lochs that add to its natural charm and beauty. In this excursion, you would get a chance to enjoy a cruise in Loch Lomond. Later proceed to another lovely city – Glasgow – home to some excellent museums, art galleries and beautiful parks. You would also get to see the famous Glasgow Cathedral. The cathedral’s Gothic architecture and imposing interiors offer a rare timelessness to the church. After this wonderful and memorable day, you would relish an Indian dinner and return to your hotel for an overnight stay
